Nothing against Western Digital, the product itself looks very cool and is a good price for a 1TB SSD. This is a blow to Microsoft because it's lame with the x-series operating systems. This prevents me from using this device to play games as it is "not formatted". They want you to pay $220 for the same amount of storage on their licensed Seagate expansion card, so shame on them. I hope that in the future it will be solved and it will be possible to use it. Unfortunately this seems to work for any system other than Xbox Series X at the moment and with these new games of today 1TB of storage just isn't enough even with faster load times and loading via SSD so I'll have to bring that back and either I'll have to discontinue, what I want to play at that point, or succumb to them. I really hate it when companies that make as much money as Microsoft do stuff like this. Really shows they can't just give you something because it would obviously kill them if I let them save $70 in extra storage after I got scalped on console.
