I tried it because I want to reduce the amount of plastic. This dishwashing liquid smells amazing and works well, but it's outrageously expensive for what you get. If you follow the instructions you will get 16 oz. about the same amount as in the smallest bottles of dishwashing liquid in the store. But it's very watery so too much comes out when sprayed (I followed the directions exactly - and it cleans well because it's so watery, but you can't control how much it sprays). So you get 32 ounces for $13 and I used both packs within a week. A 32 ounce bottle of my regular complimentary and clear dish soap (which apparently now comes in recycled plastic bottles) costs $6 and lasts 2 if not 3 times as long. Why does everything that is good for the environment have to cost three times as much as usual? Shouldn't a reduction in volume, packaging and shipping weight lower the price?
