I bought these upgraded sensors in 2019 because one of the original sensors failed. I used them for the first time for Thanksgiving 2020. My 21 pound turkey surprisingly "cooked" in much less time than expected, and we found the turkey wasn't cooked even though both gauges read an internal temperature of 165 degrees and within 4 degrees. each other. I later compared the still working original sensor to the new ones and found that the original measured accurately while the new one measured 50 degrees above the actual oven temperature. No wonder my turkey was still raw. I do not recommend these gauges as they do not read correctly.
