This is exactly what I needed. My 36" blackstone had a heavy fabric cover on it, but the rain still soaked through and horribly rusted the griddle. I spent a fair amount of my morning sanding down the griddle, then reseasoning it. Hopefully, this helps prevent a repeat of that. It's light weight but still sturdy for what it is, which I was concerned about. The handle is plastic as others have mentioned, but will be easy to replace with a wooden dowel when time comes. The paint job was thin on top, as the picture shows. The welds in the corners aren't perfect either. I have at least one small hole in the weld bead on mine. I figure with both this cover and the fabric one, the hole won't matter.
