This is a very powerful little box. Don't underestimate that. We've been using it for almost 2 months now. At first I was wondering if it works because it doesn't have that nice ionizer smell. Well it really works. The curtains in my living room are often moldy despite frequent washing. Now they always smell fresh. It took about 1 month to notice this difference. I also know it works because my floors and slippers get dirty within a few days. I see dirt on the floor. The water in the floor cleaner looks very brown. Now I mop floors more often, but that dust would be in my lungs and not on the floor. I stayed in a hotel room for 1 week and this simple box got rid of a strong musty smell overnight. I would recommend this to my colleagues who need care when traveling and staying in hotel rooms. The main thing about this box, which I think this company should look into more closely, is that it really sharpens my sense of smell. Once I feel constipated, I can pinpoint exactly what's causing it. I perceive smells immediately. That way I know exactly what to do and doesn't have to pump myself full of decongestants. I hope the company takes care of it. It's good for me, but I don't know if other people appreciate that sharpness. Run it for more than a month and you'll see what I mean. To avoid my acute sense of smell I turn it off for a few hours and now only turn it on for about 4 hours a day or as needed. Thing is, when I'm cooking I want the breakfast/dinner smell to linger for a while to make it feel like home, but when it works it drives the smell away. I plan to make more purchases. This is unlike other ionizers I've bought in the past. Although I'm a little confused, overall this is a good product.
