Clever. There have been problems with this cord suspension for years. PIA to break the ice in this line. Other methods have been used, all of which require heat provided you can find the exact spot where it's frozen. Deactivate? Switch off? "What is this? Used to? I bought it without frost so as not to bother. Preventative means leaving the top shelf almost empty to allow air to circulate along the back wall of the freezer. And the whole thing just overstuffing... Pull out the tray from under the dispenser, put a small towel in it, pour hot water in it and, bingo. Here's a cork for you... I have Bought this one because it's original, sold by the guy I think who invented it, of course it's a few bucks more, but I wanted to make sure it worked properly, as it all sounds a bit fishy, and I wanted to support Elijah this guy.
