Well, I'll start by saying outright that I appreciate his smell. Puppy breath is much more bearable. I wish they had more in each tube (most of the tube feels empty to me). I tried the applicator but to be honest it's a lot easier to put it on your finger and get started. I just felt like I accidentally scratched his mouth when using the applicator on my wavy pup. I have no idea if the gel really works. I haven't seen any noticeable differences in behavior to indicate whether or not it's helping my poor pup's mouth, but at least he definitely likes the taste. Will be excited and will sit down when he sees the tube in my hand. At this point, he seems to see the gel as a treat rather than a painkiller. Hope this helps as my poor kid lost both. 5 teeth including all of his lower premolars and lower canines in just so many days and it was pretty pathetic.
