I bought this to transfer files from my S10 Plus and was a bit frustrated because it didn't work. It worked great with my S8 Plus so I really wanted to return it. I did a little research and you need to be using USB debugging to make it work. So enable developer options and then enable USB debugging. I did that and it worked great. I'm sure the S10 plus isn't the only device this happens to. So if you come across an issue where you can't use this device, it won't show up or something.
