I ordered it because another Lasko high speed fan is more than $100 now, ridiculous. It was a lot thinner, but what I like about it is that it doesn't rattle like other fans. No assembly is required for this Lasko U35115. All you have to do is take it out of the box and plug it in. It produces enough cool air and you can control whether the air flows straight towards you or upwards. However, the number of vents on the fan is not the largest compared to the amount of air that actually exits the fan. I would like more vents on the bottom. It covers most of the room with its spin, which is enough to keep you and the room cool. But it is not comparable to other Lasko high-speed fans. It releases a lot more air. The air at this stage 3 is what the other fan at stage 1 is throwing out.
