I worked at Freshfields in the IP/IT area. The team and the firm were excellent. The firm's commitment to its employees and clients were unsurpassed. The team was a great collaboration of people and lawyers with a variety of experiences. It was a great place to work. The firm has a fantastic network and is well respected in the IP/IT area. There were no downsides. It was a great place to work and the team was great. I would highly recommend the firm. I like that we have one point person at our office who knows everything about all things related to this industry. The service could be faster but it has improved over time as well so nothing really big here! Keep an open mind when you get in there because some people are very slow moving or don't listen which can make working for them difficult sometimes. We solved problems around international trade compliance issues such us customs regulations etc.
