Worked like a champ!
So that seems to be a problem with these remote controls over time. It got to the point where some buttons didn't work at all, while others required all your strength to activate. These remotes are also older Bose systems so looking for a used one might run into the same problem. Enter the Bose remote control button repair kit! Very easy to install. The new digital pads sit between the simulated rubber buttons and the circuit board underneath. The kit is simply plugged in between. It only took a few minutes and my remote is working again!
