Review on 🍵 Cuisinart Valor Black Porcelain Enamel Steel Tea Kettle by Jordan Ford

After years of using a teapot that only had a spout for filling with water, I fell in love with the Cuisinart Valor teapot. It's nice to be able to see the inside of the kettle and clean it if needed. The teapot has a beautiful brushed stainless steel finish. Filling with water is easy and there is a maximum fill mark on the outside of the kettle. The spout lever can be held open with your finger, or the lever can be pushed all the way down and the spout lid will remain open until you press the lever again. I was a bit concerned about the manufacturer's instructions not to use the kettle on HIGH, but I've used it on MEDIUM and MEDIUM-HIGH and it heats water to a boil in minutes on an electric stovetop. Yes, the kettle whistles when the water boils, but it whistles softly. . . not loud or pushy at all. I can easily hear it from the next room, but I probably wouldn't have heard it if I was upstairs. The kettle pours without drips or streaks and looks very nice on my stovetop. Very happy with this purchase.
