They were very easy to assemble. My 7 year old did it. The instructions were simple to follow and the bots worked as expected. We used them for a science fair project (comparing brush robot to tooth brush robot and hair brush robot) and it came second in its class! Plus, it's fun to use. An interesting thing, sometimes the motor didn't work with the battery, try a few things: 1. turn the battery over and put it back in place 2. the battery is dead (we had a dead battery of four sets) 3. make sure the motor nothing hits (we had this when we used the motor with a different brush and when it was (I think) too far forward in the bristles that came with the kit. I've noticed that it matters when installing the battery changed her ch sometimes the motor intensity (in one case the motor ran slower). I'm not sure if it's just a bug or a bug.
