Should have read the reviews before buying. I had the same problem that many others have reported trying to install my RWD car - the rear brackets were flying out the rear of the car. Good thing nobody was behind the car. You might think that the manufacturer would give some guidance/suggestion. I finally got it done by placing the rear mounts just a few inches forward so that the front wheels were almost fully set when the tires hooked into the rear mounts. I've also marked the floor of my garage so I'll know how to position the brackets if I try again next winter, although I don't plan on repeating my frustrating experience. I would NOT recommend them as they are currently being made available.
