Very simple, easy installation. I didn't use the mini screwdriver that came with it, I used my own. Before assembly, I used two of the 4 screws that came with it and screwed them into the bottom part (the part without the magnets), screwing them in about 1/8 inch from fully tightened. Then I loosened these screws. Then I mounted two pieces on the steering column. Wheel, part of the magnet at the top - the magnets face the steering column switches and are screwed down with the same two screws. Screwing the two screws into the base and removing them before installing seemed to be key as the screws were a bit tight. I saw someone stripping the heads of the screws trying to put them together without doing the base first screw. So you can easily twist the two pieces after opening the two holes in the base by screwing the holes in. It took 3 minutes to install from start to finish. Very happy with the quality.
