These mounts are very easy to install and offer more flexibility than the mount that came with your Blink camera. These mounts allow me to mount from above, below, to the side, and at any angle. It also provides more clearance from the surface you are mounting on. An added benefit is the controller mounting bracket. The straight cable that comes with the camera is not suitable for furniture. This controller bracket with this kit gets the controller out of the way and includes an angled cable. Compact and unobtrusive. Fabulous! I have to say something about the strength. All plastic except for the rotating part of the stem. It's hard to shield things well, so I'll have to see how well the cameras stay in place when the Colorado winds rage on the flats here.
