Review on 🍞 Stainless Steel/Black 6-Slice Convection Countertop Toaster Oven by BLACK+DECKER, Model TO2050S by Misty Myers

This is a nice compact convection toaster. The biggest plus is that this one uses newer "glass" heating elements for almost instant heat, unlike older or cheaper small stoves with "iron" heating elements. The addition of a very accurate toast timer is also a plus if you use it to make toast. We mainly use it for heating semi-finished products, so we will probably not use this function. This brings us to the most negative feature we've found so far -- the tiny baking sheet (10 inches long, 8-3/4 inches wide, and 3/8 inches deep) is edge-to-edge. Slightly larger than our old 4-slice oven tray and very small. But I can say that at least the sheet metal didn't warp when heated. Still, the first thing I had to do was order slightly larger sheets for another $20. The measurements in the description are *wrong* - approximately 15-1/2" long, 10" deep and 10" tall (with legs). The unit is tilted front to back so the top of the oven is less than 10" but this doesn't include a handle so the overall depth of the top is about 10-1/2". It has a short flat cord about 30" long that comes out of the right rear when you hit the stove Generally it's a regular product with a 2 year guarantee, our old toaster lasted over 15 years before the timer finally stopped - hopefully it has a decent lifespan too.
