My son is always running around the house and we wanted something to protect him from bumping into the corners of the table. That's what these things are great for. They are pretty soft and pretty easy to install. It comes with adhesives that you put in each corner bumper. Once the bumper is installed, it takes 24 hours to install, after that you are done. I haven't tried removing them, so I'm not sure what happens when you try to remove them. My son has tried to take it off/take it off several times but to no avail. The only downside is that sometimes it's difficult to remove the adhesive stickers after you put them in the protector. You need a long nail. I wish the sticker could be easily removed. Regardless, it gets the job done!
