I bought this item for cycling in cold weather. With temperatures in the mid 30's my face feels a little wind burned after a long ride. Item delivered quickly, well packaged. The mask is well finished, there are no quality defects, but it is too small for me to wear properly. I had to make it pretty tight so at least a little velcro would stick. Velcro held up well, held tight. As long as I kept my head up and straight, it wasn't that bad. Once on the bike, I had to tilt my head back to see the road, and that's where its smaller size impacts usage. The velcro held up well, but the mask tightened even more than before, forcing me to push my nose in. It restricted my breathing to the point where it was just uncomfortable. Also, it fogs up on my glasses. The mask is of good quality, the Velcro holds tight. It protects well against wind and cold. I'm sure it would be fine for normal use, but you might find something different for cycling. Maybe I just have a big head, maybe it's made a little smaller than the average US consumer. Overall this is a good mask that just didn't work for what I intended to use it for.
