I'm literally the WORST at assembling and following the visual instructions so I waited for my fiancee to have a day off to help me assemble it. However, I opened it up and read the instructions just out of curiosity, and while it took me some effort to make sure all the parts were put in correctly, I was able to assemble it myself in about 20 minutes. the floor and our counter that we didn't have space for and I ended up putting the finished shelf in the corner of our living room and dicing said things. Up until that moment, I had no idea how much space we actually had in our apartment! Their motorcycle gear is quite bulky and took up a lot of space in our living room, but everything including the helmet and heavy motorcycle jacket fit the cubes perfectly and held the weight. TL;DR: The shelf is great and lightweight for people who can't usually put things together on their own and great for organizing bulky items.
