Easy to assemble and strong. My cat is 7 months old and weighs about 7 pounds and is perfect for him - he swings on him, hops, claws poles, climbs and all that. He is a wild man. We've had it for a few weeks and he's only knocked it over twice when he was REALLY crazy. I probably wouldn't recommend it for larger cats as the top bed is small and the tower might not be as strong with a heavier cat. But for a kitten or small cat, this is PERFECT! He hardly gets out of the situation. He is soft and sweet. The scratches are really good and they hold up well. He likes to peek at a rocking toy from the "top bunk" (toys can be swapped out and stay in place), and he can also lie down on the floor and play with them.
