After using the services of my friends a few times, I decided to switch to an action cam for me. Unfortunately, when I was looking for the Go Pro, it was way out of my price range. Disappointed, I looked at comparable models and found this little gem of lightning for half the price of a pro. For comparison and contrast, I'd say the biggest difference is how you get the footage from the camera. You have to use a third-party app developed in China, which is in English but is really difficult to use. I figured out how to make videos but to my surprise I can't upload them directly to Facebook or YouTube. They are in .mov format and do not contain the audio codec when saved to my samsung s8. You have to download a third party app to convert it to mp4, which wasn't a problem at all. The video quality is comparable to Go Pro. You also get variety or accessories that come in handy. Also a remote control for taking pictures and videos if your camera is installed somewhere you can't access it (extremely handy in my car or DVR). Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
