Review on Canon Powershot SD990IS 14 by Robert Smithlin

Canon still leads the compact camera market

Having owned Canon cameras for over 30 years, the company continues to produce a variety of cameras that meet the needs of amateurs and professionals alike. A compact, compact, stylish camera with high resolution, bright large screen and easy operation, the SD900IS does its job perfectly. The closest competitors are Nikon CoolPix cameras. If we compare them side by side, I feel like Canon wins. Go to a photo shop and compare directly. Canon has always had a very good frame rate between shots with fast write times to the memory card. Battery life is good. It's always a good idea to have a spare battery on hand so you can replace it when needed. The camera isn't designed for professional shots and fast action sequences, but it can handle 95% of the average user's needs. Good zoom range. Ideal for faces and close-ups. Camera for my daughter and she loves it. The SD900IS will appeal to any teenager or adult looking for an easy to carry camera with very good image quality.
