For the price, style and quality can't be beat. I had my family medicine supervisor check out the sound quality to see if it was good enough to use during and he approved! He personally has Littmann but when seeing patients he has borrowed mine and its worked for him. If a doctor with 30+ years experience says its good, I believe that is it! As for my experience using it as a student, it has worked great, I can hear all the sounds clearly and as well as murmurs. The quality is great too, I usually stuff it in my full backpack so its gone through a lot and it still looks great. My only complain is that around my neck it feels a bit heavy and tends to slide down on the diaphragm side, but its not that big off a deal as I normally have it in my pocket! If you are a student I highly recommend!
