Looks nice, but nothing more. As others have mentioned, not very convenient, but over time I've gotten used to it. The real problem is the quality. The gas spring failed for about 6 months and I was sent a replacement spring which was incredibly difficult to replace. After that, the material (somewhat thin plastic skin) on the top of the chair (in the headrest area) started to peel off. After a few weeks there was nothing left of him except for the pillow that was underneath him. All in all the chair lasted just over a year before it had to be disposed of.
