It was a really tough decision on how many starts to give this shoe. They look great, very comfortable, the quality is normal, but for me it is completely unacceptable that such expensive shoes have such an unpleasant chemical smell. It usually smells like a cheap Chinese fake. I hope this smell goes away with time. Odor issue aside, these are great shoes that are very comfortable even for a wide foot. I ordered a UK size 8 and it fits perfectly. I have a black and gray color with a white sole. This is a versatile athletic shoe that can be used for hiking, walking or any outdoor sport. Thanks to the universal grip, these shoes do not slip even on wet surfaces. The entire sole is made of soft rubber and is quite high, it is very comfortable to walk on. The outer part of this shoe is made of a mesh material that helps the feet breathe. Overall these are great shoes, modern, stylish, very comfortable, but I am still sad about the smell of these shoes, Columbia should do something about it. Some people might think it's a bit pricey but trust me Columbia is a great brand and their products last longer than other cheap brands, high quality always costs more.
