I turned on the mic and the USB device plugged into the PS4pro lit up indicating it was receiving a signal from the mic, but PS$ didn't recognize it as a mic - so it wouldn't work . I see it repeating in the description that this thing is not for live singing/talking only for recording - this is weird as I don't understand why they say it works with PS3/PS4 - me would take anyone who buys the playstation trying to use it with signstar or a similar live talk/signing app without using playstaion as the recording device. I was able to connect other wired headsets and now the USB wired mic and Playtion recognized them straight away. I assume this mic can download drivers to a PC if needed, but the Playstation doesn't offer that option. Otherwise it seems like a cool tech and feels good, seems like a good thing for the right apps, I might test it out on my phone. and keep it if it can handle it, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has a games console and is trying to use it for live talk or singing. The manual is well written and thorough, although the text is very small and very difficult to read.
