Review on Bathing Natural Sponges Infants Children by Wendy Savold

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The ones I received were used...

They are very cute and I really wanted to love them but I can't get over the fact that they looked used. Ziploc bags, some bags are folded with a sticker. At first I didn't think it mattered much, Revain comes in a variety of packaging. BUT THEN when I opened one, it was very WET and smelled really bad, like mold. So I opened all the others and they were all wet and one of them even smelled like it was used like there was soap scum on it and when I went to rinse it under water a lot of soap bubbles came out. I've soaked them in vinegar, rinsed them, and now soaked them in bleach, but honestly I don't even know if I can use them. They're for my kids, so I don't know if I can handle them. Maybe it was just a coincidence everyone else rated them pretty high so I might have a unique case but if you order them I would definitely test them out before washing my kids with them. They seem soft and gentle enough for baby skin and when I first showed them to my kids (before opening the pouches they came in) they loved them and were excited to choose the shape. So had they not been used I would probably rate them a 4/5.

Pros
  • This baby bath sponge is super absorbent and easily returns to its original shape. Rubbing it in water can bubble it abundantly, making bath time less stressful.
Cons
  • I don't remember
