This is a good product. It is unglazed pottery. So if you plan to display it and move it around a lot, you need to mount it on something so it doesn't scratch the shelf/table/whatever you're displaying it. The one I received had a small defect that wasn't visible until I tried to insert the wick. A piece of pottery - probably a hole for the wick - was firmly lit inside the lamp body. While this did not significantly reduce the performance of the lamp, it was very difficult to insert the wick that appeared to be attached to this drop, no matter how carefully I tried to guide it around the drop. A little bit frustrating. This is clearly a molded lamp, but slightly better quality control prevents this; After the lamp is lit, this wick slot becomes a permanent part of the lamp.
