Review on Dowco WeatherAll Plus XXL Motorcycle Cover with Ratchet Attachment - Waterproof & Black by Ben Daugherty

I have had several Dowco cases and know this is a quality, well designed product. I saw the ratchet system and decided to try this new style. Put simply, it's more work than it's worth. Nothing wrong with the case, waterproof, weather and heat resistant etc etc but it seems to me that the ratcheting system is not as tight as the old elastic models. Also, spending more time tucking the long ends of the cord back into the bag and closing it, and then reopening the bag and undoing the two ratchet straps was more than I was willing to do each day. I love that I can slide the elastic bag over the bike, hook the elastic under the rear fender, loop the front end around the front brake rotor, and slide the sides out for quick, easy, and secure hooking of the footpegs. I love Dowco but the ratchet is not for me.
