Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a galvanized tub for the bottom of our living room tree and this did the job. The metal finish is what I was hoping for. It doesn't shine and looks more like an old laundry basket. I especially like how they gave it an aged feel by marking the edges darker. There is a great pattern on one of the panels and the print itself looks old and shabby. All in all, it's a great mix of modern and rustic style that goes perfectly with our rustic furniture! Matches perfectly with the Fraser Spruce Base with all 5 panels. It took us about 10 minutes to assemble. We just had to pull out our screwdriver to connect two screws each side of the panel. The fact that it's adjustable is a huge plus should we decide to flood it with our smaller tree in our dining room. We tested removing one of the pieces so there are 4 panels in total and it looks just as great. It also arrived very well packaged in a soft, thick cardboard box and each record was wrapped in bubble wrap. We used to have a fabric skirt and it was very difficult to maintain. Our tree is in a high traffic area so it will be moved around and our dog will just be playing with it all the time. Climbing under a tree to fix it and moving our vacuum around a rock has never been fun. Luckily, we don't have to worry about this metal collar getting wrinkled, wet, or getting pulled on by our dog. It also looks very strong and gives our tree a nice sturdy look. Price wise I've looked around and high end stores like Pottery Barn have pricier options but this one looks just as good, even better. There was no need to spend that extra money.
