Fits oversized plugs
The problem with most extension cords is that you can't use all the sockets because there are so many oversized plugs these days. This allows me to use all six, which is a real benefit in an area where I need to power a range of devices with bulky ports. I have extension cords in both outlets, but since not all items are on at the same time, I'm not worried about overloading the power supply. Point is, I can leave them plugged in so they're available when needed with no issues. This is a great design.
