First, let me explain how it works and when you need it. The Wii Remote Plus includes a gyroscope that enhances the motion detection capabilities of the standard Wii Remote. It can be purchased either as a console (Remote Motionplus Motion Plus White for Nintendo Wii/Accessories/Games and Accessories will be available) or as a new controller (as in this case). Given that the full remote gives you the new remote AND the Motion Plus feature in a smaller package than the handpiece and remote combo, and since the remote isn't that much more expensive than the handpiece, I have to recommend the remote. With this Motion Extra, features are not required for every single game. The gyroscope allows the Wii to detect movement even when the Wiimote is not pointed at the screen, e.g. B. when she turns her head. Most games indicate whether Motion Plus is required or recommended. I bought this for my brother who plays Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and I have to say it really improves the games. If you have a Wii game that can take advantage of the enhanced motion detection capabilities, I would recommend investing in the Wii Remote Plus.
