I used this to fill my old D4 bottles from my 2 old windshield washers. It's a worthy replacement if you don't want to make your own. It's safe and works just as well. I've since found one or two "LA's Totally Awesome" purifiers at the Dollar Store, and the rest of the distilled water-filled bottle works just as well for a lot less money. This liquid for AT is pure gain for AT. Very expensive, nothing more than what is. Most of these record cleaners are just some form of high emulsion surfactants, a preservative (to prevent mold growth) and distilled water, nothing more. When you shake the bottle it actually fizzes up a bit like soap making it clear what it really is. However, when making my own, I avoid adding alcohol like some people do. My brother tried once and broke the record. Awesome is alcohol free and I've used a highly diluted solution successfully on hundreds of records. However, you can get this if you don't want to mess around with something else, but if you do a lot of cleaning, just remember that you'll use up a bottle of this pretty quickly. For the price, it's kind of a scam. But for the occasional swipe of D4, that's enough and lasts a long time. Otherwise, look around for record cleaning solutions and just make your own, especially if you use a wringer cleaning system or a vinyl cleaning system, you'll be better off in the long run.
