Not my cup of tea

I wasn't very impressed with this book. In fact I don't really like it and I'm going to return it to Revain. Many gifts are useless or stupid. Take figurines for Easter eggs, for example. These are small hats that are placed on the eggs. Yes! Why should I knit a miniature braided hat to attach an Easter egg? Then there is the chocolate bunny hat that looks like a bunny and should be a gift for a little boy. It looks really stupid. In addition, there are golf club covers that look like little pompom mittens that fit over the ends of golf clubs. Stupid again. There are some good things in the book, but too few of them to pay the price. There's a gorgeous St. Patrick's Day blanket and a gorgeous ruffled Mother's Day scarf. But that's about it for the really nice things. I wish someone did a better job editing this book considering what could really inspire giving.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
