This is a decent 14AWG speaker cable approved for fixed installation in walls. I wouldn't say it's a premium cable, but it's definitely a higher class. I bought this cable to add some outdoor speakers powered by my living room stereo. I routed the cable through the wall and across the ceiling. It passed through the cavity of the wall without much difficulty, bent the corners cleanly without being too hard, and soldered well. Sounds very good, although I have to admit that the speakers I have outside (JBL Control 25) are not really the best speakers for quality tests. It's about 30-35 feet and I could probably get by with 16AWG, but I'll stick with 14AWG for anything from 30-50 feet. More recently I've used a very similar cable for flush mounting. surround speakers. This Mediabridge cable received great reviews and lived up to the hype. I was about to order something similar for outdoor running when I stumbled across the eDragon cord. It had the same specs but was around 15-20% cheaper. I decided to take a chance. At first it was so similar to Mediabridge that I thought they were made by the same company; However, I noticed some small differences. The most notable and only thing that really affects them is that the Mediabridge cable looks slimmer. The eDragon cable uses the same materials, but the twisting of the two inner wires can be seen and felt through the white jacket. I suspect that the jacket of this cable is a bit tighter. You can see this from a few feet away and it can be a little tricky to get through extremely tight gaps, but it was such a small difference that it's hardly worth mentioning other than telling the two products apart. leftover wire after completing the wall so I used the leftover wire to replace the 16AWG wire I used for my main speakers. It's about 10 feet long so there's no real reason to use more than 16 AWG, but the old cable wore out after being on the ground for a few years. Despite my comment on looks, this cable actually looks and sounds just as good. Overall this is a very good cable that performs well and can be used for both in-wall and outdoor installation. It may not be as good as Mediabridge, but I seriously doubt anyone can hear the difference.
