Fits my 7900R. Good price, as far as I can tell it is identical to the original mic cable. Easy to Replace - I was happy to find that no soldering or fiddling with connectors is required. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and note how the jack is oriented inside the microphone. I don't think you can go wrong with the connector design. Easy replacement in 10 minutes. The problem with the original cable was that the plastic cable housing fell apart - I think after four or five years of sitting in bright sunlight in the front seat. There's no indication it won't do the same, but if it does, it can be replaced. Not sure what "stretch" means, but it has the same "twisted" design and stretches nicely.
