I bought two of these beds, one in a soft "Deep Pool" style and the other in a red quilted style. Surprisingly, they are very different. The blue is heavy and durable and feels very comfortable. Red feels very fragile and unsupportive. My dogs notice this too - both prefer blue. Blue is awesome - dogs love it, cats love it, kids love it, it's a win-win. I wish I had bought two of these instead of getting the quilted one for my only dog but he loves to chew on the bones on his bed and I thought the quilted top would be easier to clean. In the end I give the blue bed 5 stars and the red bed two stars. You are a great size! Rough Collies weighing 65-75 pounds and a 3 year old toddler are shown to scale. Those are huge beds.
