The filler caps need replacing
Here's the thing about those pyrex plastic caps: you'll need to replace them from time to time. They are glass not plastic, in my opinion it is worth replacing the covers from time to time. FYI - Using these lids in the microwave generally shortens their lifespan. Washing dishes in the dishwasher is very nice, but eventually they lose their flexibility if you use them in the microwave too much. It also defeats the purpose of using glass containers instead of plastic containers.
