I used to buy Jungle Mocs and found that Merrell doesn't make baggy but essential shoes that you can just wear to take your dog for a walk this winter. The normal worked fine for normal mocks. I was happy to see that Merrell offers WIDE for these winter socks, so I immediately bought a pair and got an extra half size in width to accommodate my wool socks. I just wrote them down and basically they don't seem wide at all, they look just like regular Merrells. I'm confused as to why they bothered to openly create a wide shoe that isn't wide at all. If you need or want WIDE, you have WIDE legs! So I'm wondering what would be common in them!? Just say wisely, if you have really wide feet, order and expect very narrow shoes upon receipt. They may be weakening, but mine are coming back. They're just too restrictive. It may seem that the soles stick, but if they're uncomfortable, what's the point? Also the lining doesn't feel that thick but hasn't been tested in the cold but don't expect a lot of winter lining either.
