Update: All the mentioned problems have been fixed with firmware updates. I have nothing bad to say about this camera other than the viewfinder twitching at times. a few seconds for some reason. I haven't been able to determine the cause, but it's not very bothersome. In any case. I upgraded both of my original Rs to R6s and couldn't be happier. The Eye AF is as good as they say, it's fast, comfortable and the image quality is the best I've seen on a camera. A lot of people are fixated on the fact that it's only a 20-megapixel sensor, but the tones, sharpness and everything else about the images is amazing. I remember it's the same sensor from 1DX3 every time I insert an SD card into my computer. It saved me a lot of time editing photos. I almost feel like I'm cheating. I still edit, but not at the level I used to have. This is very important to me because I make a living from photography. What else. The body is made from the same material that Canon uses for its RF lenses. If it's good enough for a $3,000 lens, it's good enough for a $2,500 body. I really wish the rear window was a little bigger, but it works. This is the camera I dreamed Canon would make and I love it. I'm so glad they made this thing! I really didn't want to go to 45mp and pay for 8k which I will never use with R5. I shoot stills, not video, and for me it's about as perfect as it gets.
