These chairs go perfectly with my new reclaimed wood table. Not every dining room can handle a rich chevron print, but this turned out just great! The chairs were great quality and really comfortable! They were very easy to put together and when I got to my third chair I grabbed my drill (hands down, use the drill, just be careful not to over tighten) and figured out rearranging the instructions. Once the bar is in place, insert but do not tighten the 2 screws that attach the seat to the backrest, then insert the last 4 screws. Those last 4 screws weren't always easy to align this way. do yourself a favor rod, 4 screws, then 2 screws. You'll need to lift the seat to see where the holes are for those 4 screws so you can line them up, so do that first and only screw them in a few turns so they don't fall out, then do the last ones both and tighten everything. Still. These chairs are a lot easier to put together than many of the ones I've seen!
