It's hard to rate comfort that high when it's a relatively cheap waffle fabric, but it's not itchy and wears very well. It doesn't have to be super warm or super light, but it doesn't have to be. Ideal after a shower and becomes more absorbent as the fabric wears in, although it doesn't absorb as well as much more expensive, softer garments. If you're willing to pay two to four times as much for a nicer robe, I bet you'll really like it; For my basic needs I was looking at a very reasonable price.
