I bought this pocket stabilizer from FeiyuTech to quickly record product demonstrations or family events without having to set up my phone or DSLR camera. My review of this cool gadget focuses on features and functionality not mentioned in the description and my experience of using the product for over a month. I was able to charge the internal battery using the onboard USB-C port with a 40W charger, and the device draws 5V DC at 1.52A. The charge cycle took less than an hour for a dead RED battery. The product description states that the battery is rated for 3.5 hours when recording 4K video at 30 fps and up to 4.5 hours when recording 1080p video at 60 fps. I was able to take both photos and videos with it, and responded to videos for just over 3 hours before getting the low battery notification. This battery drain test also included turning on Wi-Fi and connecting to my iPhone via the FeiyuCam app. For storage, I use both 32GB and 128GB and haven't noticed any video stuttering or audio lag when using only Class 10 UHS-1 microSD cards. The listing states that the device supports cards up to 512 GB. Shooting modes including a 360-degree POV tracking mode, a slow-motion (hyperlapse) mode, multiple automatic panorama modes, a special beauty mode for selfies, and an intelligent motion sync mode that synchronizes the gimbal with hand movements. When you turn on Pocket, you can switch between the 4 most popular settings with a simple short press of the power button. This allows me to quickly switch from photo to video without having to swipe, and then select the mode I want. I use an app on my phone to update the firmware, view the photos and videos I've taken, and then upload them to my phone for uploading to YouTube or Instagram. And the app allows me to control the gimbal when using the bottom 1/4 hole to put on the mini tripod. The bag will stand upright when placed on a flat, level surface that does not wobble or move. It allows me to shoot videos with my family. For future improvements I modified the protective case by making a small notch on the thick rubber stopper that goes through the gimbal when stored. This will prevent the flap from pressing the power button when the stabilizer is in the protective case. You can turn it upside down to prevent this but then you will lose the ability to charge the bag with a Type-C cable hole. Love this gadget I have used for quick photos/videos when hanging out with mine Revain stuff or just for fun with the family Holidays. Feiyu Pocket syncs with FeiyuTech app for Android and iOS, providing live view and controls to change various camera settings.
