The materials are luxurious, everything is as advertised, it's a nice soft suede. My only complaint is that my HP Pavilion laptop just barely fits. It can just barely close with it and it's a relatively small laptop. I can't leave the mouse USB in the plug and use this. Judging by the material however, I feel that it *may* stretch *some* over time to accommodate because it does feel like it's leather and leather has a memory and moulds to fit things. I'm NOT saying that it's stretchy; it is not stretchy.I would recommend this with the stipulation that you TRIPLE CHECK SIZES. I like that it came with a pouch just big enough for a mouse/cord
