I was looking in bulk for an eco-friendly straw for my coffee area at work. Metal straws would be more environmentally friendly, but I doubt my colleagues were willing to spend minutes washing them every time they drank coffee. In the name of greener choice and convenience, paper straws are exactly that. I was concerned that these straws would get wet or not hold up to hot liquids, but I've seen them hold up pretty well. Don't expect them to swim in a cup for half a day, but having your drink ready within an hour is no problem! Once I'm done with them, they go in the trash where I know they'll eventually break (they're paper, after all). I like them so much that I took a few to have a coffee corner for my house at home. I have not encountered any problems with the straws arriving or dissolving. You are strong. The price is very cheap and I know it will last me.
