Let's start with the main reason I wanted this bag - the side pockets! I was very nervous because I was looking for a bag with REAL side pockets for bottles/jars. These fit in my 16oz Contigo travel mug, NO SPACE! I've added a picture so you can see how much extra space there is. Enough about bags. The zippers are smooth, I love long zippers too! The bag is not big and not small. So you can use it for school if you don't bring a LOT. They can accommodate a laptop and folder. I've also included photos of the backpack with my Microsoft Surface Go so you can appreciate how big it is. I was disappointed that they didn't reveal the dimensions of the bag, so this is my "answer" to anyone having the same question. (Surface Go is approximately 10" x 7"). I also wanted to comment on the straps, they look like seat belt material and feel strong. Only time will tell how durable this bag is, but my first impression of it is that it's solid and holds up great. I'll update this if I run into any issues with it over the next few months. This is going to be my favorite backpack bag very soon and I have a lot of them haha! I highly recommend if you are looking for a versatile everyday bag or a cute diaper bag. Have fun shopping!
