Maybe it's because I tried to bleed the brakes during the first snow, but the hose was stiff and awkward to handle (it's not very flexible at room temperature). When I pumped the brakes dirty, air entered the joint of the pipe with the pumping; So I wasn't sure if I had blown all the air out of the line or not. I might try using silicone aquarium tubing next time and see if I can get a better seal and not have to wrestle with the tubing to keep the collection chamber upright. I have to say that the pump itself holds the vacuum when my finger is pressed against the port and the manifold chamber has done its job. All in all you get what you pay for and at the end of the day my brakes bleed during a solo ride.
