I wanted to return this product even though I knew it was defective. In fact, the tool works very well. The problem is that there is no guide explaining how to use it. I've read comments explaining how to set it to loosen or tighten. It wasn't particularly difficult for me personally. Left or L to loosen R or right to tighten. Many comments explain how to do it. The trick is that once you set the tool in the right direction, when you hit it with the hammer, you have to rotate the tool in that direction. In other words, you have to twist the tool as if you're trying to unscrew it when you hit it. If you don't rotate it, it won't work. I tapped the thing and nothing happened. Once I applied a little torque for a few hits and the screw got lost. Ideal!
