Exactly what I wanted. After my phone fell out of another mount (plastic) at about 20mph and hit a small bump, I was determined to find something more durable. Once installed, this thing isn't going anywhere! It attaches to the stem and becomes part of the bike. I like this design more than the one that attaches to the handlebars. A few things to note: - There's no kickstand adjustment, meaning your phone isn't in the middle of your bike - not a big deal to me and just a pleasure to have. Closer to the center than any that are attached to the steering wheel. - Phone only mounts on the side - Some people want their hands to secure the phone from the bottom as well, but I like that it's only on the side so I can slide the phone further down - The mounts are short and Do not adjust vertically, my iPhone XR in a thin case fits fine but I see if you have a thick phone and/or case this mount will not work for you. - The phone takes a seated portrait - no rotation, so not for those who want landscape. It costs a few dollars more compared to those plastic holders. This lasts as long as the bike.
